Small: 5-6inches. (I would make it 6inches if you just say 'small)
Medium: 6-7inches. (I would make it 7inches if you say 'medium)
Large:  8-9inches. (I would make it 8inches if you say 'large)

Hat & Headband Sizing.

Headband sizes

•  0-3 months  approx = 12-14 inch.
•  3-6 months  approx = 14-16 inch.
• 6-12  month  approx  = 16-18 inch.
• 12 months to 3 years approx  = 18-19 inch.
• childs 3 to 10 years   approx  = 19-20 inch.
•    pre-teen/adult        approx = 20-22 inch. 

Hat Sizing

• Adult Small: 5-6inches. 
• Adult Medium: 6-7inches.
• Adult Large: 8-9inches.

I'll be putting pictures to the sizes when I have more time.  
For headbands:
You can either tell me the age and I will go off this chart or you can measure your child's head and I can make it accordingly. 
I will also make the headband first & show pictures before asking to get money. If you like it, then I will ask for the $5 bucks (+shipping) on my Paypal before sending it to your address. If it doesn't fit once you get it, contact me and I'll make a new one free of charge.
